SABRE Vacuum Ring Main Unit up to 15.5kV

Based on the most advanced Vacuum and SF6 technology, our SABRE range offers reliability, optimum operator safety and flexibility to meet our customers' highest specifications.

SABRE has been assessed by the Electricity Association High Voltage assessment panel. As an additional assurance of reliability, our SABRE range has been fully tested to the latest IEC 60265, IEC 60056 standards and EATS 41-36 to exceed customers' specifications.

The SABRE has been designed to be fully weatherproof for outdoor use, to have a long service life and to require minimum maintenance in the most extreme conditions. The unit is fully extensible and highly flexible, suitable for use in a wide range of applications in distribution switchboards, transformer substations, ring distribution networks and as HV connections to industrial and commercial sites.

Environmental friendly

The use of Vacuum as an interrupting medium eliminates the production of any toxic and harmful by-products making the SABRE safe and environmentally friendly.

Protection

The SABRE range offers a wide range of protection options, allowing the vacuum circuit breaker to be fitted with a solid state self powered protection module, time limit fuses or auxiliary power relay. Additional options available.

Automation and remote control

The SABRE range can be retrofitted with actuators and auxiliary equipment to facilitate remote control functionality and system monitoring.

SCIMITAR SFRMU Fused Ring Main Unit up to 15.5kV

Lucy Switchgear engineers a wide array of Fused Ring Main Units suitable for applications in distribution switchboards, transformer substations, ring distribution networks and as HV connections to industrial sites and building complexes.

The SF6 Fuse switch Ring Main Unit combines flexibility and reliability and can be used for indoor and outdoor in the most severe environments whilst requiring minimum maintenance.

Free-standing or directly mounted to an Electricity Association Standard 35-1 transformer we can offer you a full package with derivative products:

TRIDENT FRMU Oil insulated Ring Main Unit up to 15.5kV

Lucy Switchgear has a longstanding experience in supplying a wide range of oil insulated fuse switch Ring Main Units for use in the harshest climates and conditions: ambient temperatures from
-10° C to + 55° C, humidity up to 100%, corrosive regions, oil fields and other hostile environments.
